All these engines are DOHC 12v engines means they have Dual Overhead Camshaft 12 valve, because all there are 3 cylinder engines and each cylinder have 4 valve so thus totally they have 12 valves. VVT stands for Variable Valve Timing which means the Dual camshafts are connected with the actuators that eventually makes valve able to vary or change their speed. The need of variable valve is because ECU can decide at which point the valve should be opened or close precisely as per the needs. Among all these engines Skoda Kylaq has Timing belt rather then Timing Chain, in general purpose timing chain is considered more reliable for long term use. Although the Skoda tells that its timing belt is made for long term use.

Hyundai i20 N line-It has comfortable seats front and rear also, a premium cabin, better build quality, good service network and low parts cost. It provide an excellent balance of power and torque. But cons is car height is low so less head room available and the ground clearance is lowest among all the cars so not suitable for off roading is. Hyundai Venue N line– good space and decent leg room, boot is also decent not largest, smooth ride quality, good balance of power and torque, good service network. But NVH in traffic condition and rattling sound in its plastic material is noticeable in long term. So build quality is compromised.

Kia Syros– Best rear seat comfort in its segment, sliding and reclining function is available for rear seats, leg room is decent, best safety rating and best boot space, premium looking cabin and interior. Cabin insulation is also very good with excellent ride quality, good combination of power and torque. But exterior design is subjective matter. Some like it very much and some do not like it from exterior. Suspension is stiffer so comfort on bad road is little less.

Kia Sonet– Comfortable seats but rear seat space is cramped, can occupy by two passenger only. Comfortable in city drive also, good ground clearance, good torque and power, suspension is stiffer so ride quality is again an issue. Its top model is over priced.

Magnite and Kiger– Best ground clearance, good boot space, best value for money cars in segment, decent ride quality meeting Indian conditions to quite some extent. But gives high engine noise in city drive, cabin quality is also not best. The use of cheap hard plastic in dash board, also its CVT feels little unresponsive. Limited service networks and part availability is an issue.

Skoda Kylaq– Best safety rating ,best handling balance and the best ride quality, decent boot space, very stable on highways, very good suspension for Indian road conditions, build quality is also good. But the interior plastic looks cheaper, interior looks compromise and basic. Rear seat have very less space not suitable for big family. Maintenance is very costly, buy with extended warranty because it has costly price for parts. So long reliability is also an issue, timing belt should be checked in every 3 to 4 years.
