What Is New With the Series X?
The most important change is the repositioning of variants.
Tata has reduced the core lineup to six names: Smart X, Pure X, Pure X+, Creative X+, Accomplished X and Accomplished X+. Selected variants are also available in DARK Edition guise.

The Series X is arguably a more important update for the Curvv than the name suggests. Tata hasn’t reinvented the car mechanically; instead, it has addressed one of the most important things for buyers in this segment — value for money.
The ₹9.99 lakh starting price is attractive, while the better-equipped Pure and Creative variants could make the Curvv considerably easier to recommend.
The biggest question is whether you actually need the top-end powertrain and features. For most buyers, spending close to ₹19 lakh ex-showroom on a Curvv requires careful comparison with larger or better-equipped SUVs.
So, should you wait?
The Series X has already been launched in India.
If you were waiting for a more feature-rich Curvv at a competitive price, this is the version worth considering. My recommendation would be to shortlist the Pure X+ or Creative X+ first, then compare their on-road prices with similarly priced Creta and Seltos variants before booking.
Bottom line: The Tata Curvv Series X doesn’t win simply because it is new. It becomes interesting because Tata has tried to put more value into the variants that ordinary buyers are actually likely to purchase.
