Maruti Suzuki has now revealed the complete variant-wise pricing of the 2026 Baleno facelift. The range starts at ₹5.99 lakh and goes up to ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), with five variants: Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Alpha and Alpha (O).

The new Baleno facelift is available with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, paired with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT. CNG is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Baleno Facelift Sigma Price – ₹5.99 Lakh

The Sigma is the entry-level variant and costs ₹5.99 lakh for the petrol manual.

This is the cheapest way to get into the new Baleno. However, it is also a fairly basic version compared with the higher variants. The Sigma gets essential equipment such as six airbags, ESC, hill-hold assist, rear parking sensors, adjustable headrests and a 60:40 split-folding rear seat.

The major compromise is equipment. There is no touchscreen infotainment system, while the exterior also gets simpler elements such as steel wheels and halogen lighting.

Who should buy Sigma?

Choose Sigma if your priority is simply getting a spacious premium hatchback at the lowest possible price and you are comfortable adding some accessories later.

For feature-conscious buyers, however, spending more on Delta could make more sense.

Baleno Facelift Delta Price – ₹7 Lakh to ₹7.92 Lakh

The Delta is where the Baleno starts feeling considerably more complete.

Prices are:

• Petrol AMT: ₹7.50 lakh
• CNG MT: ₹7.92 lakh

The AMT costs ₹50,000 more than the corresponding petrol manual. Meanwhile, the CNG version costs ₹92,000 more than the Delta petrol MT.

Delta adds important everyday features including a touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a six-speaker audio system, rear AC vents and additional convenience features.

Who should buy Delta?

Delta is the variant I’d recommend to budget-conscious buyers who don’t want a bare-bones car.

If you mainly drive in the city, the Delta AMT is particularly interesting because it gives you automatic convenience without pushing the price close to ₹9 lakh.

If fuel cost is your biggest concern, Delta CNG becomes the sensible choice.

Baleno Facelift Zeta Price – ₹8 Lakh to ₹8.92 Lakh

The Zeta costs:

• Petrol AMT: ₹8.50 lakh
• CNG MT: ₹8.92 lakh

This is an important step up from Delta because the Zeta brings several features that make the Baleno feel more premium.

You get a 9-inch touchscreen, LED headlamps with DRLs, alloy wheels, a colour MID, telescopic steering adjustment and connected-car technology. It also gets a rear parking camera and TPMS.

And this is where the Baleno starts looking and feeling much closer to what many buyers expect from a premium hatchback.

Who should buy Zeta?

For most buyers, Zeta is arguably the sweet spot.

If your budget is around ₹8–9 lakh and you want a good combination of features, comfort, technology and price, Zeta deserves serious consideration.

The Zeta AMT at ₹8.50 lakh is also attractive for city users who want an automatic without spending ₹9.60–9.99 lakh on the top variants.

Baleno Facelift Alpha Price – ₹9.10 Lakh to ₹9.60 Lakh

The Alpha sits near the top of the lineup:

At the top is the new Alpha (O) variant.

The big reason to consider Alpha (O) isn’t just cosmetic equipment. It gets Level 2 ADAS with 16 functions, making it the standout safety-focused variant in the Baleno lineup. It also gets the 360-degree camera, premium convenience features and the more complete equipment package.

Who should buy Alpha (O)?

If ADAS and maximum available safety technology are important to you, Alpha (O) is the obvious choice.

The ₹9.99 lakh AMT is also the most expensive Baleno, but it combines the automatic gearbox with the top equipment level.

Which New Baleno Variant Should You Buy?

Here’s my take:

Sigma — ₹5.99 lakh:
Best for buyers who want the lowest possible purchase price and don’t mind missing several premium features.

Delta — ₹7.00–₹7.92 lakh:
Best for budget-conscious family buyers who want the important everyday features. Delta AMT is especially interesting for city driving.

Zeta — ₹8.00–₹8.92 lakh:
My pick for most buyers. It provides a much better balance of features, technology and price without going all the way to ₹9–10 lakh.

Alpha — ₹9.10–₹9.60 lakh:
Best for buyers who want a more premium and feature-rich Baleno without necessarily needing ADAS.

Alpha (O) — ₹9.50–₹9.99 lakh:
Best for buyers who want the maximum equipment and Level 2 ADAS, and are willing to pay for it.

Final Verdict

The new Baleno facelift’s ₹5.99 lakh starting price makes the entry-level Sigma attractive, but I wouldn’t automatically call it the best value. Once you start adding the features most modern-car buyers expect, the Delta and Zeta become considerably more interesting.

For me, the Zeta is the sweet spot because it gives you a strong mix of technology, comfort and premium features without entering the ₹9.5–10 lakh territory.

However, if safety technology is your priority, the Alpha (O) is the variant to look at because it brings Level 2 ADAS to the Baleno.

So, rather than simply buying the cheapest Baleno, the better question is: how much equipment do you actually need? That’s where the variant-wise price difference starts making sense.
