Later in this year itself Tata made Sunroof available in its higher trims with CNG options. Yes, now Altroz CNG is available with AMT Automatic Gear box. The one and only premium hatchback in its segment to offer AMT gearbox. There are 5 trims available with this AMT gearbox. Pure, Pure S, Creative, Creative S and Accomplished S. Now this car has become the only hatchback which is available in Petrol, CNG and Diesel as well. With different powertrain options.
The starting price of the Altroz CNG AMT is just Rs. 8.69 Lakh for its base PURE variant . While the CNG AMT with Sunroof is available with a starting price of Rs. 9 Lakh in PURE S Variant. The prices goes upto Rs. 10.77 Lakh for its top variant Accomplished S. The full price list is as below.
Is AMT available in CNG?
Yes, AMT is now available in Tata Altroz CNG car. The Altroz now available in plenty of options and different powertrain also. The AMT Used here is Automated Manual Transmission in which gear box is available but there is no clutch provided. The gear shifting is done using a programmed electronic units. The electronic unit senses the speed and RPM and according to the requirement it helps in gear shifting making the city drive easier. This Automatic is usually not so much sophisticated and internally the gearbox is same as Manual Gearbox.

Also it combines CNG and AMT gearbox. So Altroz now can be owned with plenty of combinations like with Diesel, Petrol, Sunroof, CNG+Sunroof, CNG+AMT+Sunroof etc.
What is the mileage of Tata Altroz automatic CNG?
The Mileage of Tata Altroz Automatic CNG is approx 25km in mixed driving conditions. On the highways with AMT the car is able to give mileage of 28-30km based on the condition you drive. Light foot and relaxed driving will give you better mileage.
