TATA Harrier Petrol Launch
The TATA Harrier is a luxury segment SUV. The car is feature rich in its category. TATA’s USP is its solid build quality with highest safety rating cars so this car brings that also. But it was only launched with 1.5 L diesel engine and now a days buying diesel is in itself a worry thing due to multiple issues. So to overcome this TATA now coming with new petrol engine.
This engine is very refined one and feels ultra smooth while driving. Actually the segment has become very competitive with other market players also launching their products with newer technology. So it was necessary to have a power packed smooth engine for this segment.
TATA Harrier Petrol Engine Specification
The new engine is 4 cylinder Hyperion 1.5L Turbo petrol GDi engine from TATA. We have also seen this engine in newly launched TATA Sierra which is performing well with no power leg. Now in the Harrier which is bigger in size than Sierra this engine feels powerful and there is no turbo leg also. The new engine produces 170 PS power and 280 NM torque which is sufficient for this car.
TATA Harrier Petrol Feature
TATA Harrier has now got new features also. The 14.5 inch bigger infotainment display with clear visibility, New IRVM with two cameras for dashcam and having digital display, washer for front camera, new Key fob, rear camera in shark fin antenna, auto adjustable ORVMs with memory seats, ADAS with speed reading camera, 65w c type charging at front and also at back, sliding arm rest are some of the new feature now will be available in Harrier petrol and Safari Petrol.
TATA Harrier Petrol Mileage
The mileage of the new Harrier petrol is expected to be very good for this big car. It is expected to give 14-15 KMPL on the highways and around 10-11 KMPL depending on the driving as well. Hard push on accelerator will not be able to give good mileage but these numbers are highly expected.
TATA Harrier Petrol Price
The price is not out yet but as per the market it should be around 14.80L to 15 L for the base variant.
