Tata sierra is the one of the premium car from TATA and the company has released its official teaser showing the sneak peak of the interior. Tata Sierra Launch date is also confirmed which is 25th November 2025. Lets find out what’s new this car has to offer to compete with its rivals in this segment.
Exterior Design
Tata sierra will be competing with Seltos, Creta, Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Kushaq and Taigun and will be in the same size as them. Because this segment is filled with these market leading cars and the Sierra will surely be offering better looking exterior. The Length will be around 4300mm and its gonna be upright SUV with near vertical tail, hints design of Sierra from 1990’s. Headlight unit with Gloss black front grille and black lower bumper. The gloss black wheel arches and side sills molding adding to its beauty. The wrap around full width look for rear light and glossy black ORVMs with Camera and side collision warning system, typical boxy look from front and side profile square shaped rear. The car will have 18 inch alloy wheels and 200-220 mm ground clearance. The flush door handles also be there.
TATA Sierra 2025 Interior
The interior of the TATA Sierra will be having a first in the segment dashing interior with 3 connected screens. One for Digital meter and one for Central Infotainment system and 3rd for passenger display. The screens expected to come with privacy filter as to not distracting driver. Beige and black theme with silver inserts interior might not be practical for cleaning purpose. Auto dimming IRVM, ventilated seats, premium 4 spoke steering wheel with illuminated TATA logo, steering mounted controls, panoramic sunroof are hot features. Large Range Rover like gear selector, touch panel for climate control system and gloss elements have been used much in the interior. Rear reclining seats with arm rest and cup holders, 3 headrests for rear passengers and a good cushiony seats will be provided. The rear looks spacious also having rear window curtain, leatherette seats, practicality increased with the design. It will be having large boot space as well evident from the vertical back design.
Sierra 2025 Engine Options
TATA Sierra will be having 3 engine options one is 1.5L 4 cylinder NA petrol producing 118BHP and 140NM torque and come with 6MT and 7DCA. Second is 1.5L 4 cylinder TGDi petrol engine producing 168BHP and 280NM torque with same 6MT and 7DCA. The 3rd is 1.5L 4 cylinder Diesel Engine producing 118BHP 260NM torque with 6MT 6AT. DCA had some issues earlier which caused problem in production for Curvv, so now new AT will be provided. It will be fun to drive with diesel option same as Harrier. TATA Sierra will come with front wheel drive option only and not 4 wheel drive. Expected 4×4 in EV most probably.
TATA Sierra Feature and Safety
Feature list is long 360 degree camera, Android auto Apple car play, Immersive 3D surround sound, type-c charging ports, wireless charging and powered tail gate. Petrol and Diesel version of this car will be launched first and EV version kept for later launch. For safety 6 air bags, ESC (Electronic stability control), ABS (Anti lock breaking system) with EBD and ADAS (Advanced driving assistance system), ISOFIX child mount seats, Cruise Control will be given. Adding to the features list auto emergency breaking, lane keep assist, rear cross traffic alert are expected. TATA is designing cars with full 5 star rating for adult and child safety so no doubt there on the feature list.
TATA Sierra Price
Pricing Sierra at 11 to 24 lakh on road TATA will make this segment more competitive. This is expected price which soon to be disclose on 25th November.
