The Facelifted version of TATA Punch EV has been launched recently. With this update TATA has introduced new bigger battery options and with that eventually increased range. Now the car supports lifetime warranty on the battery also. All this given and TATA now reduced the price of the car. So its win win situation for someone who are interested in buying EV.
TATA Punch EV Dimension and Exterior
TATA Punch EV is built on TATA’s new acti.ev platform developed for EV cars. There are some of the design updates in the car. Its Length is 3880mm, width is 1742mm, height is 1622mm, 2445mm, ground clearance is 195mm, boot space is 366L. The front grille now extended further down and replaced by body colored bumper. The face now looks modern.
The housing of the front headlamps have been changed. Connecting DRL light at the front has now been removed in facelift version. The vertical grille design giving aggressive look, skid plate is placed at below that looks more functional than before.
At the back it gets edge to edge connected light setup from with high mount stop lamp. Rear wiper and defogger. The skid plate design is also changed and at the back it also gets rear parking sensors. The tyres are 15 inches in lower models and 16 inches in higher models. The breaking is disc at front and drum at rear.

TATA Punch EV come with IFATC technology i.e. Intelligent Fully Automatic Temperature Control Technology so that temperature remains under control. LED fog lamp, projector headlight setup, voice assisted sunroof, rain sensing wiper, 360 degree camera, indicator on ORVMs, connected back light, rear wiper defogger, shark fin antenna, 15w type c charging point at rear, arm rest but without cup holder, 10.25 inch touch infotainment system, 10.25 inches digital driver display in higher variants, high beam alert on meter if running at low speed.
Also push button start, leather wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, touch panel for AC controls, 65w type c charger, 12w socket also and wireless charger given at front, electronic parking break, driving modes, hill decent control, ESP, cooled glove box with base model also, central arm rest, umbrella holder on the door panels, auto dimming IRVM, two headrest provided at the back not three, ISOFIX child seat mount point, and all safety feature is as standard across all variants ESP, ABS with EBD, 6 Airbags, ISOFIX, iTPMS.

- Base variant Smart with 30kwh battery and 65kwh Motor price 6.69L ex-showroom. Without infotainment system and speaker, no dimming feature in IRVM, 8 years and 16,0000 km warranty. Black and white interior, 2 drive modes, 4 cm digital driver meter, cooled glove box, front power window, ORVM indicator, hill hold, manual hand break, driver height adjustable seat, 2 adjustable headrests at rear, 15 Inch wheel.
- Smart+ 30 KWH with same battery and Motor but with some added features. Price is 10.29L ex-showroom. It gets 8 inch touch infotainment system with android auto and apple car play wired connectivity, all 4 power window, IRVM with manual dimming function, USB type c charging.
- Smart+ 40 Kwh with increased battery and Motor is 95kwh price is 10.89L ex-showroom. with this is can cover 0 to 100 just in 9 seconds. Lifetime warranty option starts with this variant which means warranty on battery for 15 years and unlimited kms for first owner but for second owner it is 8 years and 160000 kms. Interior also gets some feature updates like electronic parking break, jeweled control knob, eco mode added in driving, revers parking camera, 16 inche steel wheel with wheel covers.
- Adventure 40Kwh battery and 95Kwh Motor price is 11.59L ex-showroom. The added features are push button and keyless entry, 16 inch styled wheel, follow me headlight, cruise control, hill decent control, electric adjustable ORVMs.
- Empowered 40Kwh battery and 95Kwh Motor price is 12.29L ex-showroom. The added features are 360 degree camera, front armrest with storage, blind spot monitoring, 10.25 bigger infotainment screen and 10.25 digital driver display, wireless android auto and apple car play, rear wiper and defogger, 16 inch diamond cut alloy wheel, Multiple voice assistance ‘hey tata’ , google assistant and siri, Alexa. IRA.ev smart features, Type A and Type C charging port at front and 15 w charging port for rear passenger. Also it has dual tone roof.
- Empowered+s 40Kwh battery pack and 95Kwh Motor price is 12.59L ex-showroom. The additional features are voice assisted Sunroof, leatherette seats with ventilation function, auto dimming IRVM, smart headlamps, wireless charger, roof rails, rear arm rest.

TATA Punch EV comes with 4 level regeneration mode with Battery option 30kwh for lower models and 40kwh for higher models. 40kwh battery range is 468km ARAI claimed but 360km is its real world range. Smaller battery option 30kwh claimed range is 350km ARAI claimed but 270km is real world range. The Battery (40kwh option) now can charge from 20% to 80% just in 26 minutes. Which means 15 minutes charging will give you 120km range using 65w DC fast charger.
