Renault Duster which started a mid size SUV segment trend was discontinued in 2022. Now French car maker Renault is all set to Relaunch Duster in Indian market on Republic day 26th January 2026 under ‘Renault Rethink’ India Strategy. This car will completely be a new Generation of the old one. Everything from exterior dimensions, platform to interior design have been redesigned. Renault India has started a Waiting Program for interested buyer. Booking will be started on the same date.
New Design Of Renault Duster
The exterior of the Renault Duster has been completely changed from front to rear. It has got new Y shaped DRLs with projector headlight setup looking really dashing. Jointly developed by Renault and Nissan the CMFB platform being used to build it. A complete new front grill with Renault written on it in big bold letters. New alloy wheels design for better dynamics. Big roof rails which add to its high stance and completely new bumper and fog lamps. Renault is focusing on product localization, value packed, stylish and technological new upgraded Cars.
Dimensions
The dimensions are balanced and proportionate which provide rugged bold and futuristic design, muscular and upright stance. The Length of the car is 4345mm and width is 1820mm. The Height is 1660mm which looks tall also the stylish roof rails help in its rugged look. The wheelbase is 2688mm for spacious cabin and better stability. The ground clearance is 212mm for better off-roading. pure SUV feel is there with aggressive front which carry classic tough look. Big wheel arches with chunky black cladding enhancing SUV character. It has 17 inch alloy wheel and C pillar integrated door handles. At rear there is a new Renault Logo, Duster badging, and y shaped backlights. No request sensor is provided as the car will automatically unlock with coming close to the car.
Duster Inetrior
Duster will be having Tech loaded and comfortable interior with 10 inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple car play wireless connectivity, 7 inch digital meter console, connected car features, Auto AC, Panoramic Sunroof, Ambient lighting for premium vibe. Features like ADAS L2, Lane keep assist, Adaptive Cruise control all for stress free driving.
Safety
6 air bags standard for safety. Modern driving functions with Forward Collision Warning, Blind View Monitoring, Emergency breaking, 360 camera, Rear Parking Sensors all for comfort, safety and convenience. Duster Engine
Renault Duster will be powered by 1.2L Turbo Petrol Engine which will produce 156BHP and 254NM torque. Also a 1.6L NA Engine with around 130BHP power. The rival of the Duster will be Creta, Seltos, Grand Vitara, Kushaq, Taigun and Urban Cruiser Hyrider. It is fully prepared to become segment leader once again.
