The Kia Seltos is now expected to be getting big updates very soon. It will be launched in all new avatar. The overall designing and looks will be changed to give more space, style and comfort. In India the new Seltos has been seen testing on roads. Here is what we can expect about this new launch.
New Seltos design change
New Kia Seltos will be having changes in overall designing so there will be upgraded front grille in vertical design pattern. The headlight designing will also be changed. It will be having Projector lights with two DRLs. The new Seltos is expected to be having Increased length approx 100mm to getting the extra space in wheel base and in boot space also. The back profile is expected to be inspired from Kia’s EV9. The tails lights will be the fully LED type and vertical in shape. There will be all new alloy wheel in terms of designing and looks.
Interior
The interior of new Kia Seltos will get new infotainment system, it will be upgraded from 10.25 inch touch display to 12′ large display. Ambient lighting will also be there. The interior will be more or less inspired from other Kia cars but there will be a touch of luxury for sure. A sort of up market and sophisticated interior will be provided.
Features
The new 2026 Kia Seltos will be having features like ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, upgraded infotainment system connected touch display, new Bose speaker system with improved sound quality, Dual Zone AC for front passengers.
Safety
Kia will offer a radar based ADAS level 2 with lane keep assist, 360 degree Camera, adjustable reclining front and rear seats, Camera based iRVM, Hill hold assist, 6 airbags, ESP (Electric Stability Program) and EBD (Electronic Break force Distribution), front parking sensors and so on.
Engine Options
Engine Options in the new kia seltos will be one G1.5L Smartstream petrol engine, Smartstream G1.4L turbo GDi petrol engine, Smartstream 1.5L CRDi VGT diesel engine will be provided with 6 speed manual and automatic transmission. Kia is expected to launch hybrid technology for this Seltos very soon as the hybrid technology is also under testing.
Verdict
Kia Seltos is a very premium car in Mid size SUV segment but it has its own sister Huyndai Creta which is giving it a tough competition in Indian Market. New added features with Increased comfort and focusing more on making Seltos a family oriented SUV will surely help it.
