Hyundai has announced big Investment in India and with that Hyundai is planning to launch more cars. Bayon is one of the demanding product to fill the gap for crossover SUV segment which is currently captured by Fronx. Lets see what are the updates regarding Bayon.
Hyundai Bayon Specification
Bayon is internationally sold under 4.2 meter segment and which is quite spacious to be honest. This car resembles like Verna but with higher ground clearance it can be said that its a raised hatchback. Built on existing i20 platform with more space inside cabin and for rear passenger. The wheel base is 2580mm and ground clearance is 183mm. Although the height is less than Venue its 1500 mm. The boot space is highest in the segment around 400 Liter.
Hyundai Bayon Exterior Looks
From Exterior it Looks like Verna as said earlier because it gets connected tube light like DRL and below that it gets projector headlamps. Difference is with the lower bumper and the front grille design. The lower bumper is in silver finish giving more SUV like looking, and there are air vents below headlights for giving cooling effect to the front tires. 17 inch diamond cut alloy wheel also 16 inch with lower variants. Back profile looks completely different. The placement of backlights are at the corners but it gets connected light also. There is also rear wiper with defogger, high mount stop lamp and shark fin antenna. Rear bumper is in silver color and providing wide look also there are two fake exhaust design on the rear bumper is visible.
Hyundai Interior And Features
The Interior is inspired from existing i20 car with same digital 10.25 inch infotainment system. But there are two digital screens also one for meter console. The 8 Speaker system from BOSE provide super music quality. The features include auto AC, electric sunroof, USB type c ports, ambient lighting, D cut steering wheel with controls mounted. There is no front camera so radar based ADAS is given with LANE keep assist and blind spot monitoring also.
Hyundai Bayon Engine
1.2 L turbo petrol engine will be available with this car which is more powerful than 1.0 L turbo petrol and more fuel efficient than 1.5 L turbo engine. The transmission are 6 speed manual and 7 speed DCT is in the offering.
