- Do not over speed the car. It create heat on the road which passes to the tyres. So always try to maintain speed on highways

- Wrong breaking is also a cause of the worn out tyres.
- Maintain right pressure in the tyres. Always check for the recommendations and fill air accordingly.
- Harsh driving cause tyre spin and thus tyre wear out early.
- If there is a turn reduce your speed. Do no take turn on high acceleration.
- Check the tyres before getting on a drive. Check any wear.
- Always carry a tyre puncture kit and also a tyre inflater.
How to make tyres last longer?
Keep the following things in mind to male tyre last longer
- Keep little less air pressure in summers because air inside becomes hot and gets expanded and can cause tyre burst.
- Check for any crack on old tyres.
- Uneven wear and tear occur if there is a bend in the Rim check the rim bent also.
- Change tyre if it gets dry. Tyres becomes dry when car kept for a long time on idle condition.
- Four digit number printed on the tyre shows the week and year of manufacturing eg 4617 means made in 46 week of year 2017.
- Check tread depth. The reading in the metre should not be below 1.6mm.
- Check for any Bubble in a tyre. Indication of it is shaking or bubbling of car while driving. If any rock hit when hit a surface of the tyre then bubbles is introduced,
- Check for any jammed break caliper means. Sometimes the calipers get sticks to break disc even after releasing the break. It then create friction and produce heat which ultimately damage the tyre.
- Dryness and crack of the tyre cause frequent punctures. So try to replace the tyre in long run.
- Keep tyres clean apply car tyre polish at least in 15-20days after washing properly. It increases life of a tyre and provide better grip.
- Use WD40 to maintain car tyre life and keep it black again.

How to protect car tyres?
- Get alignment and Balancing done after every 10000kms run. And also after we have driven the car in uneven roads and pot holes.
- Do not overload your car with people.
- Never ignore the TPMS warning.
- Check the Tread depth using a coin if only 1/3rd coin is covered that means you need to change your tyres.
- Check tyres before any trip. Only an inspection is enough. keep puncture kit,
- Always keep accurate pressure. Prescribe pressure is written on the driver side door, check minimum and maximum limit and keep accordingly.
- Cross rotation of tyres every 10000-15000kms. Rotate the tyre in every 5000km including the spare wheel. It will help in reducing uneven wear out.
- Learning how to replace a tyres. We must have a jack and a lug wrench available in a car.
