Summer is coming and what is needed in a car is an efficient AC which can keep cabin cool. So AC cleaning in needed because cooling will increase only when parts of AC are clean and dust less. So here we have come with some tips on how to improve car ac cooling. What parts we need to clean so that our cabin will cool quickly as we sit in the car.

How to increase AC performance?

There are some parts in a car that helps in cooling the car so first we need to understand what are those parts that contribute to AC cooling. Then we need to keep that part clean regularly that we can do with following steps

• Condenser Cleaning– Clean the AC condenser placed at the front of the car. It can be done using the plain water spray using water pipe. The condenser is made of small fins in meshed form in which small dirt and insects can enter and eventually choke it. The Condenser takes outside air and if clogged then incoming air will also be chocked and blower will make noise and will not be able to do proper cooling. Make sure not to damage its fins, we can use a shampoo or any dishwasher for washing if needed. Do reverse cleaning also for removal of dust. If condenser is cleaned then Car cooling will increase quickly. Its the most effective way to increase cooling.

• Radiator Cleaning– Clean the radiator which is placed behind the Condenser that will also help to increase cooling. Cleaning it will feel like a new compressor is placed or new gas is filled.

• Clean Cooling coil– Clean the cooling coil placed below the dash board. Dirty coil causes AC noise but less cooling. Eventually we will feel Fall in car pickup and AC needs extra load to run. Clean it using foaming chemicals if needed that will help to remove the smell also.

• If Cleaning coil is fully chocked then we will need to remove the entire dashboard, the central console and the steering also. So try to clean the coil regularly.

How to increase AC speed in car?

• Check Actuators– The actuator which is used to adjust blow air inside cabin and air intake. Check whether it is working properly or not.
• Check Engine Cooling– The Engine of the car must be cool and its temperature must be maintained properly. Hot Engine will not be able to run AC compressor properly and it will trip again and again if engine is not cooled enough. So Check the engine coolant filled properly and set at proper temprerature.
• Condenser FAN– Check the condenser FAN placed to keep condenser cool is working properly. If not then slow speed car cooling will be affected.
• Clean AC/Air filter– Clean it using air pressure if its paper made or clean it using water if its regular one meshed filter. if required then replace it.

How to strengthen AC in car?

• GAS top up is not the solution always. Because gas will be filled only when leakage is there in any pipes. We need to check whether leakage is there then all gas will be lost and AC will not even start working. long term gas filling will need only after any leakage
• AC cooling coil can also be cleaned without opening the dash board. We can use water based Solution prepared using liquid dishwasher and mix it with water and it will create foam also.
• A Reverse flushing of the coil also be done using the same solution and spray it on the coil. We can use vacuum cleaner to create foam.
• Meshed filter can be cleaned using water and soft brush.
